There are many ways you can join DIBS.
DIBS Faculty Members are Duke faculty (tenure, non-tenure, and non-regular rank) who have agreed to contribute substantially to the Institute’s work and mission (e.g., by participating in an education, research or service activity for the Institute).
Interested in becoming a DIBS Faculty Member? Fill out an application and provide an up-to-date curriculum vitae, a brief statement of research interests and how they align with those of DIBS. Applications will be reviewed on a semi-annual basis by the DIBS Director and the DIBS Executive Board. Members of the DIBS Faculty are appointed for an initial term of three years, renewable indefinitely. Apply now.
DIBS Investigators are DIBS Faculty Members with a major and sustained commitment to the DIBS mission that have been recruited to Duke by DIBS and/or are receiving substantial resources for a research program from DIBS (such as DIBS Research Incubator Awards). DIBS Investigators are appointed by the Director for an initial term of three years, renewable indefinitely.
