Dr. John Beyer is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Duke University. He is the director of the Mood Disorder clinic and Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic. He also serves as vice chair of the Private Diagnostic Clinic representing the department of Psychiatry. Dr. Beyer is board certified in Psychiatry and board qualified in geriatric psychiatry. His focus of research has been in the clinical treatment of mood disorders, with a special emphasis on bipolar disorder and geriatric mood disorders.
